| Back in 1998 we released an album called 'Happy City', the
proceeds from which went to support the building project in Ecuador of the same name. The Happy City (La Ciudad Feliz) is now a reality and houses over 50
children who would otherwise be left to fend for themselves in the dangerous city streets
or, worse, to grow up alongside their parents in jail. As you can imagine, such a
successful start has given inspiration to many and a growing demand to expand the
fledgling village. People from miles around have been drawn to this safe haven which shows
Christian beliefs and family values in action - funds are now needed more than ever to
build more houses and the infrastructure of this self-sustaining community. Judy Divall has got together with several of her musical
friends to produce this album of 14 Christian songs, many well-known to you plus some
new-comers, in a variety of styles and musical arrangements. |
